The name Varvàra is in honor of Baroness Varvàra Wrangler, wife of Count Ugolino della Gherardesca and great-grandmother of Count Federico Zileri Dal Verme, the current owner.
This wine was born from the desire to develop a more immediate product while continuing to give importance to the fruit.

From this vintage we have introduced the Cabernet Franc that seams the ideal partner in marriage Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot. The bouquet turn to more spicy-refreshing notes, on same full-bodied exciting taste.
Handpicked grapes, selected again before the destemming.
Delicate process mainly trough pump over of the juice. The maceration in 2016 was quite long.
12 months in 500 liters Barrels.

Calcareous with pH 8, mix of Clay-sand-limestone. Dark brown color
